Would you like to enjoy the beauty of the Thousand Islands from your own mansion? Of course you would!
Platinum Luxury Auctions, has announced that on Aug. 22, 2015, a 15-acre point lot mansion, known as Eagle Point, is going on the auction block.
Eagle Point's starting bid is $7.9 million, though the final sales price is likely to be higher. Its original asking price was $22 million.
The property is made up of a 13,375 sq. ft. main residence and a 5,761 sq. ft. guest residence. Between the two buildings that's 8 bedrooms, 8 full bathrooms and 5 half bathrooms.
The property also boasts:

Preparing the site for development required extensive modifications, including using dynamite blasting. The stone removed was repurposed into the walls, pillars and water features of the site, according to Platinum.
"I've never seen such whistle-clean mechanical and electrical control rooms than those found at Eagle Point. It speaks to the owner's high standards and dedication to maintaining the estate," Trayor Lesnock, Platinum's president and founder, said. "I hate to sound cliche, but you could eat off of the floors."
The mansion was built with the boater in mind. Eagle Point has 1,600 linear feet of total water frontage and a commercial-grade, concrete dock. It provides more than 300 feet of dockage in Bucks Bay. It also has a boathouse, and multiple boatlifts.
“In the Thousand Islands, boating is an integral part of the lifestyle,” Lesnock said. “In fact, quite a few of the island homes there are only reachable by boat.”
To be clear, this one isn't of those. It's on the mainland, at 697 Thousand Islands Parkway.
