Scarborough shooting sends woman to hospital

Toronto police are investigating three incidents involving gunfire this morning, including one that sent a woman to hospital. 

At 4 a.m. police say a woman arrived at North York General with multiple gunshot wounds.

She told police she was shot near Victoria Park Avenue and Ellesmere Road. Police are investigating the area but have found no signs of gunfire.

The woman's injuries are non life-threatening.

In a separate shooting incident, police were called to an address on Leyton Avenue near Danforth and Warden Avenues  at 3:30 a.m. for reports of gunshots.

Police found shell casings, but no victim. While officers were on the scene, they heard more gunshots and arrested four males a short distance away.

No one was injured but a home was damaged by gunfire.
