KLM Plane Swings Back And Forth In Terrifying Landing

The KLM Boeing 777 can be seen swinging violently back and forth as it lands at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport.

Deadly storms that swept across the Netherlands this weekend led to a scary landing for one KLM pilot.

In a video uploaded to YouTube Saturday, the Boeing 777 can be seen swinging violently back and forth as it lands at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport.

KLM told CNBC that “safety had not been compromised."

Intense winds of over 80 km/h hit the country this weekend, felling trees and leading to code-red wind warnings near the coast, according to Weather.com.

One man was killed and another person injured when they were hit by falling trees, the Dutch news site Omroep Gelderland reported.

Weather site Weer.nl reported that the storm is the worst on record for July.
