Sheriff Meets Adorable Young Owl, We Fall In Love

So much cute in one video.

This owl means serious business.

Last week, deputies of the Boulder County Sheriff's Office in Colorado were stopped in their tracks by this little fella at a nearby campground. According to the office, the young Northern saw-whet owl who stood still and began twisting its head, eventually flew away.

According to The Owl Foundation, these owls are also found in southern Ontario but because of the province's harsh winters, most saw-whets can be seen in the fall. Either way, this little fur ball is super cute.

Our deputies were driving when they were stopped in their tracks by this young Northern Saw Whet Owl. After some curious head twisting (on both sides) it flew safely away. #DeputiesLoveBabyOwls
