Troy Tulowitzki starts off Jays tenure with a bang

Troy Tulowitzki has made a good first impression as the newest member of the Blue Jays.

The shortstop led off for the first time in his career and started Wednesday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies with a standing ovation from the home crowd.

Although he struck out in his first at-bat, the 30-year-old made sure that his second attempt of the night was one to remember.

Tulowitzki opened scoring for his new team by smacking a two-run homerun into the second deck to put Toronto up 2-0 in the third inning.

The homer was his 13th of the season, but it wasn't the only way he endeared himself to fans.
