People in P.E.I. probably thought the white stuff would never melt after a record-breaking snowfall this winter.
More than 540 centimetres fell on Charlottetown, creating massive walls of snow. Some Islanders even had to dig a 25-foot tunnel just to reach their car.
Charlottetown photographer Evan Dickson has proof that Islanders survived the "snowmageddon" — and that life has returned to normal.
During the storm, Dickson snowshoed around the city and took photos of everything that was buried by the white stuff.
Then he went back and snapped pictures in the same locations after the snow melted. Dickson shared some of his work with The Huffington Post Canada. Check out the difference!
