Tornado warning has ended for parts of southern Ontario

A tornado warning issued for parts of southern Ontario has ended.

A severe thunderstorm that was moving to the southeast at 40 km/h toward Lake Erie had the potential to bring damaging winds, large hail and intense rainfall.

Cloud rotation has been reported near Wainfleet, northwest of Port Colborne, prompting the warning, which has since ended.
