For the second day in a row, Calgary faced a pummelling of hail that left streets flooded, gardens damaged and plenty of frustrated Calgarians behind.
Environment Canada called a severe thunderstorm warning shortly after noon on Wednesday, not even 24 hours after a major storm ripped through the city.

The City of Calgary activated the Municipal Emergency Plan due to "anticipated heavy rains and severe weather conditions," according to a release. Calgarians were reminded to stay indoors and away from areas prone to flooding, such as manhole covers, storm water ponds and underpasses.
