Muzik shooting victim identified as Ariela Navarro

CBC News has confirmed the name of one of the two people killed in Tuesday's shooting at Toronto's Muzik nightclub.

The family confirmed that ​Ariela Navarroof Toronto died of her injuries after she was shot outside the club. Another man, who was shot and killed inside the club, has not been identified by police. Both victims are believed to be in their 20s. Three other people were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds and are expected to survive.

The pair died after gunfire erupted inside the club at around 3:30 a.m.

The shooting continued outside on Dufferin Street as the panicked crowd spilled out of the club at Exhibition Place and onto nearby streets. No arrests have been made.

At the time of the shooting, the club was packed with revellers attending an after party of the OVO Fest, hosted by Toronto rapper Drake.

Police are urging anyone who was at the club to come forward with information that can help with the investigation.

Police have released a description of two men they want to speak to about the shooting: 

- A black man, six feet to six feet one inches tall, about 25 or 26 years old with a fresh buzzcut. He was wearing a purple, crewneck sweater and dark blue jeans.

- A second man, who was last seen near the Dufferin Gates, is described as a brown-skinned male, five feet, 10 inches or five feet, 11 inches tall with a skinny build, between 24 and 28 years of age. He was wearing a yellow and burgundy plaid button-up shirt.
