Canada's Marco Dispaltro Wants Gold At The 2015 Parapan Am Games

"Last Parapan Am Games I won silver and now I want the gold."

Marco Dispaltro, who will be carrying Canada's flag in the Parapan Am Games opening ceremonies, has his sights set on gold.

Dispaltro will be representing Canada in Boccia, the sport in which he took silver in during the last Parapan Am Games.

Even though most of his rivals are half his age, the 48-year-old is a self-described "Gordie Howe" who told the Globe and Mail that "it’s always a motivating factor that the old guy can still perform, and keep the young wolves at bay."

Good luck Marco! Canada will be cheering for you!
