They say fruit is nature's candy, and it's true. Besides, you're probably never going to get health benefits like these from a chocolate bar.

Of course, when it comes to any type of food, the key to reaping its benefits is by practicing portion control. Canada's Food guide recommends adults consume seven to 10 servings of fruits and vegetables daily. But remember, serving sizes vary. Half a papaya typically counts as a serving as does three apricots or a medium apple, for example.
And there is such a thing as eating too much fruit. Registered Dietitian Ashley Koff explains to Prevention magazine that since fruits are carbohydrates, consuming too much in one sitting can create a build up in the body which will turn into fat. Not to mention all the excess sugar you'll be consuming which can wreak havoc all on its own.
