Wyclef Jean To Close Parapan Am Games At Closing Ceremony

Move over, Kanye!

Wyclef Jean has been confirmed as a performer at the closing ceremony of the 2015 Parapan Am Games at Toronto's Nathan Phillips Square on Saturday.

The news was confirmed on Twitter by music promoter Live Nation on Friday night.

Jean will join Canadian country singer Meghan Patrick on stage as they close out a competition that saw more than 1,600 para-athletes vie for glory in the biggest Parapan Am Games ever held.

This is Jean's second performance as part of the games, after he opened Panamania last month.

The closing ceremony will also see a Parade of Nations and the handover of the flag of the Americas Paralympic Committee to Lima, Peru, the next host of the Parapan Am Games.

Jean and Patrick come after Kanye West, Serena Ryder and Pitbull played the closing ceremony of last month's Pan Am Games.

We'll see if a mic cuts out this time.
