The French fashion designer and founder of the eponymous fashion house would have turned 132 today (August 19) and we want to celebrate.
Through her career, Coco, nee Gabrielle Boheur Chanel, revolutionized women's clothing. She was responsible for replacing the tight, restrictive clothing of the early 1900s to more comfortable, liberating frocks that exuded of casual elegance. Her designs, including the legendary Chanel suit with the collarless jacket, the little black dress and purses with straps are still iconic to this day.
