How To Start Wearing Autumn Pieces Despite Summer's Unrelenting Grasp

Now into the last week of August, we know exactly what time of year it is: the part where we’re all ready for fall, where we think it’s fall, and then boom — we get four days of merciless heat that make us question everything we know and everything we hold dear. (Which lasts approximately until Christmas.)

So by this definition, autumn is technically here (or at the very least, will arrive soon according to the text it just sent about traffic being super-bad). Which means that as far as I’m concerned, we can officially begin infiltrating our day-to-day looks with the fall pieces we’ve been thirsting for since we remembered the majesty of wearing boots.

Here’s my guide to sneaking those pieces in (as a means of slowly crushing the spirit of anyone who dare romanticize humidity when talking to you).
