CALGARY — Police have deemed the death of a five-year-old boy in Calgary last month suspicious.
They say Eneas Emilio Perdomo was brought to Alberta Children's Hospital on July 10 with injuries that family members said were from numerous accidents.
Police say it was obvious to hospital staff that the injuries weren't consistent with the activities of a child his age.
The boy died a week later and an autopsy was done.
It determined the child had swelling and bruising all over his body, and numerous other serious injuries.
The homicide unit has been investigating and would like to speak to anyone who had close contact with the child.
