The Weeknd's MTV VMA Performance Of 'I Can't Feel My Face' Just Redefined 'Hot'

Hot damn.

Hot damn.

Canada's The Weeknd didn't nab an award for Song of the Summer at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards last night, but he did pull off something equally as impressive: He got Kanye West out of his seat and dancing.

The R&B singer hit the stage following an introduction from Jared Leto and brought the heat with a live performance of his single "I Can't Feel My Face."

The 25 year old worked the audience and brought the likes of Taylor Swift and West to their feet with help from an impressive feat of pyrotechnics.

The singer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, was up for two other awards that night: Best Male Video for the song "Earned It" and Best Collaboration for his work with Arianna Grande in "Love Me Harder". You can watch his performance in full below.

Fans of the Weeknd can look forward to more live performances when his Madness tour kicks off Nov. 3 in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre. Now please excuse us as we go find something to cool off with.
