We've been following Toronto councillor Norm Kelly's Twitter eruption for a while now — from his interactions with rapper Meek Mill to his tribute to Toronto's raccoon Conrad (RIP).
But Kelly's love for Toronto and all things that come with it also means love for the annual Canadian National Exhibition. A few weeks ago, the councillor tweeted our story about his interest in Tim Hortons' new Timbits Poutine.
With over 128K followers who call him everything from Dad to Father to Daddy (seriously, he continues to wonder why), one follower asked if he would do a video review of all the poutine flavours.
And that's how we got here, with Mrs. Kelly's favourite son going head-to-head with five new doughnut poutines being offered at this year's Ex. And while it may not traditionally be a poutine or even qualify as one, there's a lot of sweetness going on in these dishes.
