Victims of a helicopter crash in a remote area of Quebec, near Sept-Îles, are being transported to hospital by a Canadian Forces helicopter.
Police confirmed just after noon Wednesday that five people were aboard the helicopter, the pilot and four passengers, but their conditions have not been made public.
Provincial police said the chopper went down around 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday about 40 kilometres north of Sept-Îles, in the North Shore region.
Firefighters and paramedics were able to get to the site of the crash despite its location in a rugged, wooded area.
