Brave Porcupine Manages To Escape Leopard In Remarkable Video

Now the cat is hungry AND full of quills.

This leopard likely won’t try snacking on a porcupine for lunch again.

In a video from Kruger National Park in Johannesburg, South Africa, the cat fails to capture the prickly rodent, ending up with a face full of quills instead.

The video of the spiky creature fending off the predator was captured by Endless Summer Tours and posted to YouTube Aug. 27.

The tour operator writes in the description that the painful encounter happened on the last morning of a safari tour last month.

“The leopard tried multiple attacks but each time ended up with a whole host of quills in its face and body. Eventually after one particularly poor attempt by the leopard the porcupine took its chance to make a dash for it!”
