Single syllable baby names have maintained steady popularity over the years thanks to their simplicity. That’s why MooseRoots, a genealogy research engine, decided to find the most popular one syllable baby names in 2014.

Using data from U.S. Social Security Administration, MooseRoots found that most high ranking boy and girl names were classic. However, there were some trendy surprises to be found!
