#ManiMonday: TIFF-Inspired Nail Art By Kaitlyn Elisabeth Beauty

Perfect for the festival season!
Kaitlyn Elisabeth Beauty

The Toronto International Film Festival is in full effect right now. Celebrities and film fans are flocking to Toronto over the 10 days of the festival. Whether you are able to attend TIFF or not, you can support the festival on your nails!

To create this design you'll need only 4-5 nail polishes - white, black, orange and gold.

For the index and pinky fingers start with a white base then take your black polish and create a thick curved line. Once that has dried for a few minutes, take your white polish and create little rectangles along the two edges of the black line with a nail art brush. With a very thin brush, take your white polish again to create the separate sections of the film reel. You could also make the middle sections gold if you wanted to add a little extra glam.

For the TIFF logo, start with an orange nail polish base then take your white polish and a nail art brush and carefully draw out the logo. You can practice on a piece of aluminum foil before tackling your actual nail. Always remember that you can take some of your base colour afterwards to fix anything.

Lastly for the ring finger, take a gold glitter polish and apply 2-3 coats until full opacity is reached. You can also add a gold shimmer topcoat over the glitter polish to add a bit more sparkle and shine.

Polishes Used: Wet n Wild Black Creme, Revlon Marmalade, Sinful Colors Snow Me White, Revlon Transforming Effects Gold Glaze, Sally Hansen Golden Rule
