On Tuesday evening, Birks and Telefilm Canada hosted their third-annual Birks Diamond Tribute to the Year's Women in Film at the Shangri-La Hotel Toronto.
The event celebrated nine of Canada's brightest and revered female actors and film directors, with honourees including directors Sophie Deraspe, Anne Émond, Patricia Rozema, Kari Skogland, and Ingrid Veninger and actors Katie Boland, Suzanne Clément, Catherine O'Hara, and Karine Vanasse.

The soiree brought in notable attendees from the worlds of film, fashion and culture including director Deepa Mehta, model Stacey McKenzie and actor Lauren Holly.
