Derek James Saretzky, 22, of Blairmore, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder, and one count of indignity to a human body.

RCMP say Saretzky was known to Hailey's family.

It was a sad end to an ordeal that began with an Amber Alert asking for information leading to Hailey's safe return on Monday.

"The love we feel from you, my friends, family and the entire community is what is keeping us going right now," wrote Dunbar.

Condolences and tributes have been pouring in from around the country for the family and friends of Hailey and Terry.
