Toronto police had a real-life shoot-'em-up after surrounding an allegedly stolen car in the Distillery District on Wednesday.
Officers were called about a car that was taken close to Shuter and Bond Streets at around noon, The Toronto Star reported.
Police first spotted the car driving at Parliament and Dundas Streets and later blocked it at Parliament and Mill.
The cops started shooting at the car after the driver allegedly tried to run into an officer, CTV News reported.
Fifteem shots were fired, but the suspect wasn't hit, the network added.
Shannon Ferguson, who works nearby, described the scene to CBC News.
"All of a sudden, we heard, "Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom," she said. "I've never heard that many gunshots. It was like a movie."
The witness added that people were running through a park amid the chaos.
Cyclist Bryan Martin told the Star that police eventually pulled a man out of the car and "wrestled him" to the ground.

The suspect in the incident has been identified as Edward Michael Skotnicki, 60, and he has been charged with assault with a weapon, driving while disqualified and negligence causing bodily harm.
He was expected to appear in court on Thursday.
