Selena Gomez Covers Elle's October 2015 Issue, Opens Up About Moving On From Justin Bieber

She just wants to look good for us, after all.

Selena Gomez is getting set for her "Revival," and she's doing so by starring on the cover of Elle magazine's October 2015 issue.

The 23-year-old "Good For You" singer does it up like Midas in the Liz Collins-photographed shot, in which her profile is shown off as she gazes off into the distance.

She's wearing that (Miu Miu) dress we like (skin-tight), her hair's done up real nice, and while we're not quite sure if her skin is syncopated to our beating hearts, we have to admit she's got a killer cat eye and brow game going on.

The "Spring Breakers" actress proudly shared the image on Instagram, captioning the photo "Here's the first look of my new @elleusa cover!! One of my absolute favorite interviews. Elle you always do me justice. Love you!"

She also shared the subscriber's cover, in which she wears a patterned Louis Vuitton bodysuit, which is slightly unzipped to show just a hint of skin.

In the accompanying interview, Gomez reveals she's ready to leave behind her past relationships (looking at you, Justin Bieber) and Disney image for a fresh beginning with her second solo album, "Revival" (a cover you must see) and new record label. She tells the magazine, "I wanted to be my own person. I wanted to test myself. I wanted to see if I could really do it."

She also says she'll "forever support" and "love" Bieber, clarifying they're now just "genuinely" good friends.

“We grew up together. I think people want it to be different…[but] I respect him. And I think he respects me, in a healthy manner.”

And as for a Jelena revival?

"I don't know!" Selena tells the magazine, laughing.

The issue hits newsstands on September 22nd. In the meantime, you can check out interview highlights and more photos from the spread on Elle.com.
