Ariana Grande has become known for her signature half-up, half-down hairstyle, but we have a feeling her natural hair is about to take over.
Over the weekend, the 22-year-old songstress unveiled her locks in their natural state on Instagram, shocking us all with a full head of gorgeous curls. Her luscious mane was styled in a side part with two braids keeping her strands off her face.
She captioned the photo, "Peekaboo healthy curls long time no see" along with a bunch of emojis.
Ariana also posted a video to Instagram, in which she says "Dad made me do it!" and her father replies, "I did. Because I like your curls." She goes on to say, "Ophelia we match!" referring to her dog. Aww.
Returning her hair to a healthy state has been a longtime coming for the "Love Me Harder" singer. After people began hating on her for wearing the same style over and over again, she explained that after four years of dying her hair red to play Cat on "Victorious" and "Sam & Cat," her locks become "completely destroyed."
"I had to bleach my hair and dye it red every other week for the first four years of playing Cat," she wrote in a long Instagram post last year. "I wear extensions but I wear it in a ponytail because my actually hair is so broken that it looks absolutely ratchet and absurd when I let it down."
Glad to see your locks in tip-top, healthy condition, Ariana!
