Montreal police issue call for potential assault victims

Montreal police are looking for more potential victims of a man accused of punching women in the face on downtown city streets.

Benoit Tétrault, 32, is accused of assaulting at least two women on the street since last May.

They say he hits them in the face then walks off without saying a word.

Police say they have reason to believe Tétrault has attacked other women elsewhere on the island or in the metro system.

Tétrault is 1.7 metres tall, weighs 65 kilograms and has blue eyes, blond hair and may have a beard and moustache.

Anyone with information is asked to call visit their local police station and call 911.
