If you were to choose anyone to play David Beckham in a biopic, who would it be?
H&M thinks Kevin Hart.
The Swedish retailer has tapped the comedian to star alongside the 40-year-old soccer star and longtime H&M model in their latest fall 2015 "Modern Essentials" campaign.
In the video teaser for the ad, Hart plays a method actor following Beckham around in the hopes of portraying him in an upcoming film. Kevin moves into David's house, attempts (and fails) at an ice bath, and even tries to mimic Becks' accent. And while Hart is very much enthusiastic about his new role, David asks, "How long are you staying?"
Naturally, the one-sided affection is just for the cameras, with David calling Hart "one of the funniest, smartest guys around" in a statement.
Hey, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?
