Serena Williams is set to become a calendar girl.
The 33-year-old tennis superstar announced on Twitter over the weekend that she will be part of the legendary (and super sexy) Pirelli Calendar this year, which will be shot by Annie Leibovitz.
Williams, with 21 Grand Slams under her belt (NBD, right?), will join the likes of Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Adriana Lima and Gigi Hadid, who have also starred in the famed calendar in years past. Last year's edition, shot by Steven Meisel, was themed around fetish culture and featured a plus-size model for the first time, Candice Huffine.
The Pirelli calendar first started out as a promotional tool for the Italian tire company, but has quickly become "the most prestigious calendar in the world," (according to famed photographer, Patrick Demarchelier), and is now known for its racy, nude photos.
