In the video above by Bon Appetit magazine, we learn one chef's secret on how to cook a whole chicken along with savoury seasonal vegetables like okra and potatoes.

Although this video doesn't go into detail on spices or sauces on the chicken, we suggest trying one of these homemade sauce recipes. And one good reason to stick to this cooking method is that you will get crispy skin on your chicken all the way through.
