Just in time for the federal election on Oct. 19th, comedian Scott Vrooman has launched a satirical news web series examining issues that might not be getting the coverage they deserve.

"Citizen Vrooman" takes a light, satirical look at issues ranging from government secrecy, media fear mongering, marijuana and the surveillance state.

The series will air on Huffington Post Canada, CANADALAND and on YouTube.

In the series debut, Vrooman takes a look at government secrecy during Stephen Harper's time as prime minister. Watch the full video above.
