If you ride your bike to work, you know much of a hassle it can be when it comes to your attire, especially if you work in the city.
Office wear does not exactly equal practical cycling wear, and vice versa, and even if you were to find an ensemble that would work for both, there's that issue of arriving to work sweaty and overheated from your commute.
Well, Levi's is looking to change that.
The iconic denim brand has created Levi's Commuter Collection, which is designed for the on-the-go urban cyclist. The pieces take classic Levi's styles, such as the 511 jeans, but include some smart features to make your bike ride that much easier. Think 3M reflective lining on the cuff, water and dirt resistant fabric and much more stretch for freedom of movement. Jackets and tops have breathable lining to keep you cool, along with merino wool to help regulate your temperature.
And while the collection has been available to men since 2011, the women's line is only in its second season. Key pieces for fall 2015 include chambray button-downs, a reworking of the iconic Trucker jacket and skinny jeans in denim and non-denim fabrics, which feature a higher back rise for additional coverage (in other words, no visible underwear while riding). And the best part is? They're all totally work-appropriate, and stylish.
