#ManiMonday: Simple Marble Stone Nail Art

A simple nail art design that can make a big statement.

Marble finishes have been everywhere recently. So why not extend this trend to your digits with a simple nail art design? This marble stone design features some of the polishes from the OPI Venice collection, which you can find in stores now.

The great thing about a marble nail art design is that it doesn't have to be perfect. In fact, the imperfections make it look more realistic.

To begin, apply two coats of OPI's "I Cannoli Wear OPI" and let dry. Then take OPI's "Be There In A Prosecco" and either a sponge or a balled up piece of plastic wrap, and randomly apply the polish lightly over the base colour.

To create the imperfections, take OPI's "My Gondola or Yours?" on a piece of balled up plastic wrap and lightly dab onto the nail. The less polish on the plastic wrap the better for this step. Finally, take the same polish on a small nail art brush and draw the veins. You can also dip the nail art brush in acetone before picking up the polish to dilute the colour.

Finish off the nail art design by taking OPI's "Baroque...But Still Shopping" on the nail art brush and follow a few of the dark veins to add a bit of shimmer to the look. Top everything off with a top coat, so that the design lasts for days.

Polishes Used: OPI I Cannoli Wear OPI, OPI Be There in a Prosecco, OPI My Gondola or Yours?, OPI Baroque...But Still Shopping
