Mary-Kate And Ashley Olsen Fire Back At Former Intern's Lawsuit

Don't mess with the Olsen twins.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are hitting back at former intern, Shahista Lalani, who is accusing the twins' label, The Row, of working their interns 50 hours a week without pay.

In court documents exclusively obtained by The Daily Mail, the Olsens, via their company Dualstar Entertainment Group, systematically deny each of Lalani's claims, saying in no way did they act in a "reckless or malicious manner."

The Sept. 14th-dated documents also state that the twins want the lawsuit thrown out and that they're requesting Lalani to pay their legal fees.

Shahista, a Parsons School of Design grad, claims she was subjected to menial tasks, including running personal errands for paid employees, and was given neither pay nor college credit. The complaint states that 40 past and present interns should be given minimum wage (plus overtime) for labour.

Back in August, when the lawsuit was placed, Dualstar released a statement claiming the case to be "groundless."

Stay tuned for more to come.
