Mother Of Marco Muzzo, Accused In Deadly Vaughan Crash, Appeared On Reality Show

The mother of a man accused of drunk driving in a devastating Ontario crash talked about her own distracted driving habits on a reality show two years ago.

In a video uploaded to, Dawn Muzzo introduces herself as a participant on the W network cooking show, "Come Dine With Me Canada."

The competition features people hosting dinner parties and then being rated after each meal. Muzzo appeared on the show in 2013, according to IMDb.

In the video segment, Muzzo opens the door to her garage, where her convertible is parked.

She explains that she used to have a Porsche, "but I couldn't wear my heels, have a cigarette, and drink my coffee whilst shifting. So it had to be traded for an automatic," she says.

Her son, Marco Muzzo, faces 18 driving charges after a crash Sunday in Vaughan, Ont. killed three siblings and their grandfather. The family was travelling in a van when it was T-boned by another vehicle, said fire officials.

Daniel Neville-Lake, 9, his brother Harrison, 5, and sister Milly, 2, died after the crash. Their grandfather, Gary Neville, 65, was also killed.

Muzzo, 29, is charged with a dozen impaired-driving offences, as well as six others related to dangerous driving.

Dawn Muzzo issued a statement Tuesday extending her condolences.

"We are all greatly saddened by yesterday's tragedy and express our deepest sympathy and condolences to the Neville, Lake and Frias families. We would ask for the co-operation of the media in respecting the privacy of our family during this very difficult time."
