Ellko, Beauty Blogger, Washes Hair Using Coca-Cola. The Results Are Impressive.

You have to see it to believe it!

There are so many things you can do with Coca-Cola.

You can remove rust from a truck. You can use it to clean a toilet. You can even drink it (if you must).

And apparently, you can use it to wash your hair.

Beauty blogger Ellko posted a video in May that shows her using Coca-Cola to wash her locks. The video trended again Friday, after being picked up by Cosmopolitan UK.

Ellko was inspired by supermodel Suki Waterhouse, who told Us Weekly that she sometimes rinses her hair with the soft drink, and that it makes it look "tousled, like I've gone through the Amazon or something."

What worked for Suki also worked for Ellko: she liked the results, saying it gave her hair texture, and made it feel as though she used a sea salt spray.

"I'm absolutely going to do this again," she said.

But Waterhouse and Ellko aren't the only ones who have tried Coca-Cola on their hair.

Seventeen magazine tried it last April, with mixed results.

One person said it gave her hair "way too much texture," while another said she liked it, but wouldn't do it often because she didn't feel it made a huge difference.
