A clip from Australian comedian Jim Jefferies' routine on gun control has gone viral following the most recent mass shooting in the United States, which has sparked a debate on whether or not the country should impose stronger gun control laws.
In the bit, which is from his 2014 Netflix special, "BARE," Jefferies cleverly pokes fun at gun lovers while claiming that they only have one argument to make their case.
"F*ck off, I like guns," quips Jefferies in the video above.
While more than one argument exists for anti-gun control supporters, including constitutional rights, there is still proven evidence that stronger gun laws greatly reduce gun-related violence and crime. After the 1996 mass shooting in Port Arthur, Australia, the country passed the National Firearms Programme Implementation Act, banning automatic, semi-automatic and pump-action shotguns. Since then, there have been no mass shootings, reports HuffPost Canada's Josh Ostroff.
