Frustrated RCMP in Saskatchewan have turned to Facebook to call out drivers who still haven't figured out what emergency sirens mean.
A cruiser from the Kindersley detachment was heading north on Highway 21 on Tuesday with both its lights and sirens on.
"Not one vehicle on the highway pulled to the side of the road and stopped to safely let our officer through," said RCMP in a Facebook post. "We need to get to our call safely and quickly. Move over.”
Hear that? MOVE OVER.
According to the Saskatchewan Traffic Safety Act, failure to yield or pull to the right and stop for an emergency vehicle can result in a $125 fine.
It's not the first time the Mounties have used social-media shaming to call attention to driver safety.
On Monday, the RCMP posted a list that completed the phrase "you know you are from Saskatchewan when." One of the answers was "... when you decide to become a tank commander in your vehicle and scrape a small square on your windshield just big enough to peer out of."
Joking aside, driving with a frost-obstructed windshield is not only dangerous, it can lead to a $125 fine.
So bad drivers beware, the RCMP are watching. And they're calling you out.
