Shay Mitchell Roots For The Blue Jays On Instagram

Come on, how could we resist a PLL pun?

Canada is rooting for you, Blue Jays — in the stands, at home, and on social media.

Even our celebrities are caught up in baseball fever.

Canadian actress Shay Mitchell, the star of "Pretty Little Liars," posted the following image to her Instagram account on Wednesday, as the Jays prepared to take the field for the last game in their series against the Texas Rangers.

The image shows her in a Toronto Blue Jays logo jacket from Roots, a company whose clothes she has modelled before, and cheering on the team who was facing either elimination or advancement into the next round of the MLB playoffs.

The Mississauga-born actress wrote, "You can take the girl out of Canada but you can't take Canada out of her roots...! Big game tonight!"

The Jays went on to win 6-3 over the Texas Rangers in Wednesday's game five.

Mitchell isn't the only Canadian celebrity who's been boosting the Blue Jays in their first playoff appearance in 22 years.

Also cheering on the Jays was the 6ix god himself.

Let's gooooooo! 🏆🏆🏆
