Gigi Hadid, one of the world's top models at the moment, can now add director to her already impressive resume.
Co-directing with Black Coffee, the 19-year-old model made her directorial debut for her boyfriend Joe Jonas’ latest music video with new band, DNCE. "Cake by the Ocean," Joe's first music video without his Jonas Brothers, features none other than a giant cake. By the ocean. (Naturally.)
In a massive food fight in Malibu, the four minute and 16 second video, is an all-around good time -- models in bikinis (including Candice Huffine, who is sporting swimwear from Guess), cheering fans and even everyone’s favourite Internet sensation, The Fat Jewish, make appearances at the "First Annual International Cake Fight Championships."
"She’s always had a creative eye so she came up with concept and we rolled with it," Joe said of his girl. "She was a good boss."
And in case you doubted Gigi's expertise, let's not forget she's no stranger to hit music videos. The face of H&M x Balmain, appeared in BFF Taylor Swift’s #squadgoals video, "Bad Blood," over the summer, along with the vid for Calvin Harris' epic club hit, "How Deep Is Your Love?".
At this point, we say it's official -- Hadid wins girlfriend of the year.
