CALGARY — A man has been charged in the death of a two-year-old boy in Calgary in 2005.
Police say they were called to a home on Dec. 5, 2005, in the afternoon for a child in medical distress.
Blake Harvey was taken to hospital, where he died three days later.
At the time it was determined that the boy's injuries were not consistent with a fall down the stairs, as stated by the caregiver who was at the home.
Ryan John Podhorodecki, who is 32, of Kelowna, B. C., has been charged with manslaughter.
He was arrested Thursday in Victoria and has been transferred to Calgary.
