PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. — An employee of a Saskatchewan health authority has been fired for inappropriately accessing patient information.
The Prince Albert Parkland Health Region says data involving 22 patients was accessed over the past year.
Officials say they learned of the breach last month.
All the information, with one exception, involves electronic records.
The health region says the affected patients have been told about the breach.
