Kylie Jenner Reveals A Mascara Trick That Is Simple Yet Brilliant

Turns out, messy mascara application can be a GOOD thing.

Kylie Jenner has just changed our lives with yet another genius makeup trick.

When it comes to mascara, you'd think that the key to a perfect application is to not let the mascara wand hit the skin on your eyelids or under eye, right? Wrong. According to Miss Jenner, getting a little messy can actually be a good thing.

In a new tutorial on her app/website, entitled "Going Back To My 'Classic Kylie' Look,' the 18-year-old reality TV star's makeup artist, Joyce Bonelli, shares a tip: "When putting on the mascara, I always let it hit the skin because it kind of adds a little bit more."

She explains that while applying mascara, she lets the wand hit the skin below the eye. This gives the eyes a more dramatic, smudgy look as if you just applied black eyeliner along the waterline.

Simple, right?

Using Charlotte Tilbury's Full Fat Lash on Kylie, Bonelli says if you get a little too much mascara under the eye, just remove it with a Q-tip (the cheapest beauty tool in your kit).

So you don't own a good black eyeliner? No worries. Simply use your mascara like Kylie.
