Your Facebook timeline and Instagram feed may be filled with more cats than usual today, and there's a good reason why: Oct. 29, has been declared National Cat Day, and everyone from Uber to animal shelters are getting in on the action.
We were lucky enough to have a visit from kittens via #UberKittens, and as you can imagine, it was all we could to keep from squealing.

As we learned last year, cat dudes are just as prevalent as cat ladies, so it's no surprise to see the Internet exploding with glee over this celebration of their favourite animal.
