Hockey Fan Steals Puck From Kid And Smiles. Who DOES That?

But his favourite team made things right.

To steal a hockey puck from a kid is just bad form.

But to smile about it? That's borderline villainous.

Buffalo Sabres coach Dan Bylsma threw a puck into the stands as his team faced the Pittsburgh Penguins Thursday night at the Consol Energy Center.

The former Penguins coach was clearly aiming for a boy standing right behind him. But when he threw it, an older fan caught it in the air, smiling as he put it in his pocket.

The Penguins wouldn't stand for that.

They gifted the young fan with two pucks featuring Penguins and Sabres logos, as well as a Sidney Crosby jersey.

Even a rival team applauded the move.

In 2011, a woman was caught taking a ball right from a girl's hands at a Houston Astros game and then giving a friend a high five.

The girl later received an autographed ball, according to a Reddit post quoted by CBS.
