As we've seen throughout the federal election campaign, Justin Trudeau loves holding babies.
His latest baby-holding photo is with the family of Scott Brison, a gay Liberal MP who Trudeau named president of the Treasury Board.
The photo was posted to Facebook by Laurent McCutcheon, a longtime activist who was previously president of Gai Écoute and Fondation Émergence, groups that focus on the well-being of LGBT people.
"Congratulations to Scott Brison, the new president of the Treasury Board, and Maxime St. Pierre, fathers of twins, Claire and Rose. Photo with Justin Trudeau," McCutcheon wrote in French.
"Few countries are as open as you see here."
Numerous Facebook comments praised the photo.
"A PM who doesn't shy away from calling himself a feminist, who not only takes a photo with a gay couple (one of whom controls the country's purse-strings) and their kids, but is proud to do so!" one commenter wrote in French.
"A new era is upon us."
Brison, the MP for the Nova Scotia riding of Kings-Hants, and his husband Maxime welcomed the twins last year, the Chronicle Herald reported.
