It's official: Helen Mirren is the queen of the red carpet.
The 70-year-old actress attended the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Governors Awards in Los Angeles, California, on Saturday night, looking ever the goddess in a stunning white gown.
The dazzling frock featured a long-sleeved lace overlay with ruffled accents on the sleeves and shoulders. It was a nice contrast to the sheer, chiffon skirt, which Mirren playfully twirled around on the red carpet. And the finishing touch? A jewelled floral necklace and matching earrings.
The Oscar-winner kept her beauty look fairly simple, opting for shimmer eyeshadow, lightly-lined eyes and a maroon lip. Her light locks were styled in a deep side part, with one side tucked behind her ears, and the other framing her face slightly.
Other celebrities in attendance included Jane Fonda, Meryl Streep, Rooney Mara and Carey Mulligan, all of whom looked lovely in their respective ensembles.
But seriously, just look at Helen work that dress:
SLAY.
