Hunger can lead you to some strange places.
One pug likely knows that now after his owner rescued him from the kitchen garbage can.
A Montreal man came home one day to find his kitchen torn apart and his little friend nowhere to be found.
After less than a minute of searching, he realized the dog was trapped in the garbage bin underneath the kitchen sink.
"Oh my goodness, this was here to protect him," he says in the clip, referring to an elastic band used to keep the cupboard shut.
As he opens the door and slides the bin out, the little guy appears.
"What have you done?" the owner asks.
Apparently, this isn't the first time this crafty pup got into the garbage. But when his owner finally found him, ready to discipline him, he decided otherwise. He was too impressed to be mad.
