How To Get Rid Of Chapped Lips This Winter

Like you, we hate chapped lips too.

Raise your hand if you sit at your desk all day long, constantly applying lip balm to your poor cracked and dry lips.

Don't worry, you're not alone.

If you're anything like us and wondering how to get rid of chapped lips this winter, look no further than the video above. In the clip, Monica Richards of ModaMob shares her wisdom on how to cure chapped lips this winter.

First things first — exfoliate. (This is key.) Lip scrubs, DIY sugar scrubs (with your choice of coconut oil or honey, of course) and wet lip treatments (which rinse lips using a fizz), are all great options to revive your lips and get the flaky skin off of your precious pout.

Just as you are kind to your skin, you have to show that pucker some love too. Treat your lips at night to a leave-on mask. We love Bite Beauty's nourishing Agave Lip Mask.

As for those million lip balms you own, ask yourself, are they any good? Richards says to avoid using waxy balms and opt for a lip treatment that is load with essential oils and vitamins. This will allow your lips to be moisturized from the inside out.
