Jon Murray Thinks 'It's Too Soon For Christmastime' In Parody Song

"I don't really care, you can go ahead and call me Scrooge."

Maybe some people love hearing "Santa Baby" piped from stores mid-November, but we're not sure who they are.

The rollout of holiday music, displays and peppermint mochas seems to happen earlier and earlier every year, and many of us find it irritating.

Jon Murray knows our pain. The YouTube vlogger released a hilarious video last week parodying what he sees as the premature rush to Christmas, set to his own rendition of OneRepublic's "Apologize."

“I noticed things going up in stores a few days before Halloween had even passed. The Halloween costumes and decorations were all on clearance and Christmas trees, lights, and ornaments were being put up,” he told Inside Edition in an email. “It was a little ridiculous.”

The dad of three girls told Today that he and his wife have also been guilty of celebrating too early. However, he also said he wanted to have fun with a topic that resonates with everyone.
